Once again I am obsessed with my five (yes FIVE) favourite pairings of all time, this poem is taken from the males perspective.

The \"father\" part of the first line, of the fourth stanza, is the persona acknowledging their lover\'s parent as their own parent, i.e they are commited to want to spend the rest of their life with the parents daughter, viewing him immediately as their own parent.

This is meant to romantic rather than erotic, i wanted the male persona\'s feelings to be \"gentle\" rather than \"hot\" to express the true nature of the poem.
